Oh Christmas droid, oh Christmas droid! This year’s holiday Droid Factory items, including a Christmas tree droid and an advent calendar of droid parts, have arrived at Walt Disney World.
We found them at Tatooine Traders in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Both are also available on DisneyStore.com.
R4-TR3 Christmas Tree Droid Factory Figure – $14.99
R4-TR3 is a green droid with a conical dome. It’s topped with a shiny yellow-gold star. The droid’s various ports and buttons are highlighted as red, yellow, and blue like Christmas ornaments. The feet of its articulated arms are brown like a tree trunk.
This fully sculpted plastic figure measures approximately 3 2/5 inches tall. According to its packaging, R4-TR3 is at home on the forest moon of Endor, which makes sense not only because the droid resembles a tree but because R4 units are designed for more rough terrain than their predecessors.

Droid Factory Advent Calendar – $79.99
The Droid Factory advent calendar box is inspired by a Jawa sandcrawler. The box features printed string lights and stockings. It opens to reveal a countdown calendar of punch-out doors.
The doors hide 24 build-a-droid pieces that can be assembled to make five droids, plus a single completed droid for six in total. The droids include a gingerbread-inspired R2 unit, a BB-8 snowman, a gift-wrapped Gonk, and a B2EMO present. Many of the parts are interchangeable between droids.
