The Dream Lights Gingerbread Castle is now complete at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and the snack shop is open.

A gingerbread castle adorned with dream lights and surrounded by blue and silver trees stands majestically against a starry night backdrop in a spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows.

This year’s gingerbread display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is Cinderella Castle decked out with the retired Dream Lights. This is the 13th year that the Contemporary Resort has hosted a gingerbread display.

The display, which is 17 feet tall and 25 feet wide, is made of:

  • 613 pounds of sugar
  • 1013 pounds of flour
  • 113 pounds of gingerbread spice
  • 51 pounds of chocolate
  • 4,000+ gingerbread bricks
  • 13 hidden Mickeys
  • 1 hidden 5-legged goat

Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Castle Merchandise

Gingerbread Pin – $22.99

The more generic holiday pin for Disney’s Contemporary Resort resembles a wrapped gift. Each resort has a unique version of this pin, which slides open to reveal characters. The Contemporary’s pin features a Monorail on the gift’s bow and Elastigirl holding Jack-Jack by a Christmas tree.

Cookie Jar – $49.99

The cookie jar is available at the various resorts with gingerbread displays, and represents all of them. Gingerbread versions of the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Beach Club, and BoardWalk are shown. Additionally, the Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Aulani are also represented.

Ornament – $26.99

The Contemporary gingerbread ornament is shaped like a mug of hot cocoa with a peppermint-striped handle. A gingerbread version of the Contemporary Resort’s main building is perched on the edge of the cup.

Food & Beverages

A festive-themed booth adorned with dream lights showcases a dazzling display of items, surrounded by people in a large indoor space. The enchanting atmosphere feels like being near a gingerbread castle, inviting everyone to savor the magic of the season.

A snack kiosk is set up with themed food and drinks.

Other gingerbread displays will include Spaceship Earth at EPCOT, the BoardWalk Deli at the BoardWalk Deli, a carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and the Gingeraffe and Zebra at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is already open.
