First Look at Kids Oceaneer Club on the Disney Treasure

Katie Francis

Luxurious parlor room with ornate décor, stained glass windows, and a fireplace adorned with a framed picture. Inspired by the Disney Treasure's Oceaneer Club, it features pastel blue seating that invites relaxation and imagination.

Kids ages 3-12 can spend their Disney Treasure sailing in Disney’s Oceaneer Club, a kids-exclusive play area on deck 2 of the ship.

Entry

A modern indoor slide next to a stairway with decorative railings and porthole-style windows in a colorful, plant-themed space.

Kids can choose to take a slide from the Grand Hall straight into the Club. A regular entrance is the deck below, available via a nearby staircase.

A hotel lobby features a large mural of a smiling bear, red striped seating, and lush plants. A spiral slide is visible in the background.

The murals and decorations outside Disney’s Oceaneer Club are inspired by “The Jungle Book.” There are large leafy plants in a flowerbed around the slide. Baloo and Mowgli are on the wall next to a red upholstered bench.

Kids are supervised in the club by counselors. There are open houses at select times for adults to visit and check out the club.

A ceiling adorned with geometric patterns and small lights resembling stars illuminates the enchanting space, reminiscent of the Disney Treasure. A chandelier adds elegance, while below, guests enjoy what feels like a scene from the Oceaneer Club.

Disney’s Oceaneer Club on the Treasure is nearly identical to that on the Wish with Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, and Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck.

Kids are immediately greeted by a starry ceiling of Disney constellations. Each constellation is a different color. You might see Belle’s red rose or Rapunzel’s sun. An ornate chandelier in the center looks straight out of a castle, with fake candles on black iron holders.

Walt Disney Imagineering Lab

Modern seating area with wooden tables and stools, colorful geometric ceiling panels, and two screens displaying text. A glass display case with various items is in the foreground.

In the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, guests “Discover the secrets of world-renowned Disney Imagineers—the creative minds behind Disney theme parks, Resorts and cruise ships—with hands-on activities and inventive experiments.”

The Lab features concept art, maquettes, and models for various elements of Disney Parks. We saw a Figment model in a 3D printer.

The bronze sculpture is elegantly displayed in a glass case, surrounded by maps and brochures from the Disney Treasure's Oceaneer Club, with enthusiastic visitors visible in the background.

The displays vary on this ship from the Wish, and one case houses a miniature model of the Treasure’s Grand Hall statue of Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Magic Carpet.

Also in the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, kids can design their own roller coaster at the Ride Studio and then experience it virtually.

Fairytale Hall

Luxurious parlor room with ornate décor, stained glass windows, and a fireplace adorned with a framed picture. Inspired by the Disney Treasure's Oceaneer Club, it features pastel blue seating that invites relaxation and imagination.

Fairytale Hall has three spaces inspired by Disney Princesses. In Rapunzel’s Art Studio, kids will make their own arts and crafts projects, like floating lanterns and paintings. Belle’s Library is a “cozy corner” for reading and acting out stories with an enchanted painting. The last space is Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus, where kids can unlock their icy powers during “Frozen Fun,” a series of gesture-based games hosted by Olaf. These include snowball fights and a hunt for Snowgies.

Marvel Super Hero Academy

Futuristic room with a digital kiosk and vibrant superhero mural; mannequin-like figure stands near the screen displaying text.

In the Marvel Super Hero Academy, guests train to become Super Heroes. They can design their own super suit, see nanotech bring their design to life on a mannequin, and then test their skills in a virtual battle with “Avengers: Mission Training.”

This is also where Marvel super heroes sometimes appear for activities or meet and greets.

Star Wars: Cargo Bay

A sci-fi themed room with control panels, storage boxes, and futuristic decor.

Kids care for a host of “Star Wars” creatures in the Cargo Bay, including a porg, Loth-cat, and worrt. Throughout their sailing, guests can track and study the creatures on a series of special assignments using AR data pads. Rey and Chewbacca will also appear to help guests.

Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck

A children's play area with colorful padded structures and a nautical theme, featuring a Mickey Mouse symbol and a television screen.

Designed for the youngest kids of the 3-12 age range, Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck is a nautical playground inspired by Disney Cruise Line. This space features physical activities, sensory games, and play time with Mickey and Minnie. The space also sometimes opens to little ones’ families and toddlers from the adjacent “it’s a small world” nursery.
