The Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure has several holiday offerings available this season, including the new Coffee Chip Churro.

Cozy Cone Motel 1 – Churros

These holiday items are available through January 6.

*NEW* Coffee Chip Churro – $6.99

Churro dusted with cinnamon sugar and coffee, drizzled with coffee chip cream cheese frosting, and topped with chocolate pieces

If you poured coffee on a churro, this is certainly what it would taste like. It’s not bad but we didn’t like it. It tastes like basic coffee on a basic churro.

Fire Truck Slush – $6.99

Strawberry slushy with a hint of chile-lime seasoning and lime (Non-alcoholic beverage)

This tastes like it was made for alcohol. It’s spicy with a nice kick of tajin. For a strawberry slush, it doesn’t taste artificial. It’s nice for what it is.

Strawberry Slush Margarita – $18.50

with tequilla, a hint of chile-lime seasoning and lime

This isn’t earth-shattering but it’s good. It’s the same slush as above but elevated by the rim and alcohol. They make for a pleasant combination. The alcohol is well masked which is dangerous.

Cozy Cone Motel 2 – Ice Cream Cones

Christmas Tree Cone – $5.99

Peppermint soft serve decorated with holiday sprinkles

This has a beautiful presentation and stayed in shape pretty well. It’s like Andes mint ice cream. The soft serve is tremendous. It’s milky and creamy, which goes nicely with the mint flavor.

The Chicken Pesto Cone is available through January 6.

Cozy Cone Motel 4 – Frozen Cone-Coctions

Menu poster featuring drink options at the Cozy Cone: Watermelon Lemonade, Watermelon Michelada, Gingerbread Mule, and Watermelon Chamoy Tequila Cocktail. Prices and alcoholic beverage details listed below.

The holiday drinks at Cozy Cone Motel 4 are available through January 7.

*NEW* Watermelon Lemonade – $7.49

Watermelon-chamoy lemonade and a watermelon candy ring (Non-alcoholic beverage)

The new watermelon lemonade is essentially a non-alcoholic version of the returning cocktails.

Watermelon Chamoy Tequila Cocktail – $17.50

Tequila with watermelon-chamoy lemonade and a watermelon candy ring

Watermelon Michelada – $20.50

Golden Road Street Cart Cerveza with watermelon-chamoy lemonade and a watermelon candy ring

A cozy cone-shaped plastic cup is held in a hand, filled with an orange drink. The rim is dusted with chili powder, adding a spicy kick. In the background, vibrant plants and a cactus add to the warm atmosphere.

The top of this looks like vomit and it’s hard for us to get past that consistency. It tastes like beer. Whatever else is going on is mostly overpowered by the candy rim. We didn’t get a lemonade flavor and barely tasted watermelon, just weird strawberry beer.

Rating out of 7: 2

Gingerbread Mule – $17.50

Cinnamon whiskey, ginger beer, lemon juice, and gingerbread syrup garnished with a maraschino cherry

A hand holds a plastic cup filled with an orange beverage, topped with a cherry, set against the cozy cone-like backdrop of cacti and lush greenery.

We don’t know if this one is good or bad. It’s certainly weird. The ginger and cinnamon make for an interesting but definitely holiday flavor. It’s not sticky or syrupy. If it sounds interesting to you, give it a shot. You might like it.
