The first medal reveal is for the Virtual Love on the Run Challenge, which is heart shaped and features a lovestruck Mickey Mouse. A blue banner is wrapped diagonally around the heart with the race wordmark in pink and red. “2025” is included in white at the bottom of the heart. The medal sports a hinge, meaning it can open.
The medal hangs on a bright pink strap, which features the challenge wordmark in red and white.
The 2-miler medal celebrates the best friendship between Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck. The pair are shown in two hearts, wearing pink heart-shaped sunglasses. The race wordmark is printed in white on a pink circle, with a pink diamond spinner at the center that reads, “2 Miler.” “Minnie” and “Daisy” are represented with a friendship bracelet design around the perimeter of the medal.
The strap for this medal is a light blue, with the race’s wordmark printed in red and pink.
The 5-miler medal celebrates WALL-E and EVE from the iconic Pixar animated film. The pair are represented on a heart-shaped medal, with red hearts repeating over a hot pink background. The race’s wordmark is included in white, alongside “2025.” WALL-E presents his boot planter to EVE, whose leaf emblem on her torso has been turned into a pink heart.
The neck strap for this medal is light blue, with the race’s wordmark in red and pink.
The final medal for the Virtual Love on the Run 14-miler is that for the 7-miler. This medal celebrates Buzz Lightyear (and seemingly Jessie, though she’s not included in this photo). Buzz stands beside a hinged blue door with a heart that features the race’s wordmark. The door is hinged, so it is able to open (presumably to an image of Jessie). The neck strap for this medal is also light blue and has the race’s wordmark in red and pink.
Taking place from February 1-28, the Virtual Love on the Run 14-Miler allows runners to enjoy three virtual races (a 2-miler, 5-miler, and 7-miler) at their own pace.
Registration for the challenge is currently open and priced at $187 per person. Highlights include the tree virtual races on courses of your choosing, an embroidered blanket, a themed magnet, four commemorative finisher medals, a digital bib and finisher certificates, and a digital race tool kit with printable mile markers.
