The premiere date for “Andor” season 2, a Disney+ original “Star Wars” series, has been announced.

The second and final season of the critically acclaimed series will debut on April 22, 2025. Filming wrapped this past February.
Starring Diego Luna as the titular Cassian Andor, the series follows the rise of the rebellion against the Galactic Empire. It’s a prequel to “Rogue One,” which introduced the character of Cassian. Disney previously announced Forest Whitaker and Ben Mendelsohn would reprise their “Rogue One” roles as Saw Gerrera and Director Orson Krennic, respectively. K-2SO, Cassian’s droid companion from the film, will also return for season 2.
In a behind-the-scenes reel shown at D23 in California this past August, Luna said the “stakes are greater” in season 2.
“This second part will follow Cassian over the period of four years as he grows into the hero we see make the ultimate sacrifice in ‘Rogue One,'” he said. (via Deadline)
