The Cinderella statue found outside World of Disney in Disney Springs has finally returned after its refurbishment.
Cinderella Statue Returns to World of Disney Entrance
As we previously reported on October 24, the Cinderella statue that normally stands near one of the World of Disney entrances had been removed, likely for a touch-up and some new paint.
On Thursday, December 12, we spotted the character once again gracing the entrance to World of Disney. The princess stands near the entrance and is ready for photos in the bright Orlando sun.
Cinderella had been showing some signs of wear and faded paint prior to refurbishment. Now, the statue’s colors have all been refreshed, and details were redefined on her face and ballgown.
We previously reported that the other entrance statue of Princess Aurora is also showing signs of wear and fading. Aurora stands at the same entrance, opposite Cinderella. Now that Cinderella has returned, Aurora will likely be removed for a similar refurbishment soon. Historically, these statues are removed one at a time every year or so for a refresh.
