2025 is less than two weeks away and Disney has started setting up for New Year’s Eve parties throughout EPCOT. Many of the World Showcase pavilions celebrate the new year with dance parties and DJs.

New Year’s Eve Preparations

U.K. Pavilion

A brick building with a trimmed garden is flanked by two street lamps adorned with greenery and red flowers. People walk on the paved path under a partly cloudy sky.

Some scaffolding is up in the back gardens of the United Kingdom pavilion. There are two sets of domed trusses, one in each fenced-off garden.

Lights will be mounted on these trusses.

Some scaffolding beams are sitting behind hedges.

Last year, the U.K. pavilion hosted a silent DJ party. Guests got headphones and could switch to different music channels, plus control the volume of their music.

A large set of scaffolding is set up in the Italy pavilion. Scaffold columns and beams connect to a ring over the stage. The columns are wrapped in scrim and sit in plant-filled boxes. As in the U.K., the scaffolding will support lights. The DJ will be on the stage, with dance space on the ground.

EPCOT Park Passes have been unavailable for New Year’s Eve since November 1. The park will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. “Luminous: The Symphony of Us” will be performed at 6:30 p.m. followed by “Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration” beginning at 11:54 p.m.
