Menu Items

*NEW* Chilaquiles Carnitas Torta – $13.99

Red Chilaquiles, Refried Beans, Avocado Spread, Queso Fresco, Pickled Onions and a Fried Egg, served with Chips

If you choose to get this with the Sip and Savor pass, there is a smaller portion available. We got the full size portion.

It tastes like chilaquiles in a sandwich, because that’s what it is. The bread is fantastic. Though it unfortunately doesn’t hold everything together well as a sandwich, it’s so soft and pairs nicely.

The carnitas are tender and juicy. It’s unclear if there’s a ton of flavor coming from the carnitas, but there are so many accompaniments that carry the dish. Every aspect of the sandwich comes through. We will say, however, it is messy.

Plant-based Huarache – $12.99

with Soy-based Chorizo Beans and Seasoned Steak Tips, topped with Lettuce, Cheese, Avocado Crema and Tomatillo Salsa, served with Spanish Rice and Refried Beans topped with Nopales Pico de Gallo

We’re not sure how the same park responsible for the perfect masa in the tamal at Grandma’s Recipes Marketplace can mess up the huarache but they’ve done it. Instead of the crispier exterior and soft interior you want, these are dense and tough. The toppings don’t even redeem it because the avocado crema overwhelms everything else. It gets a point for being a hearty plant-based meal at a decent price point, but even so, there are better plant-based options in this park. Hop over to Avengers Campus for the Impossible Spoonful or Victory Falafel instead.

Chile Verde Chicken Flautas – $13.99

topped with Avocado Spread, Shredded Lettuce, Crema, Queso Fresco, Tomatillo Salsa and Pickled Onions, served with Spanish Rice and Refried Beans

These are great. The chicken is well-seasoned, juicy, and tender. The avocado pairs well and balances out the crunch of the fried tortilla. This is one of the best dishes Paradise Garden Grill offers.

Al Pastor Tacos – $13.99

Pineapple-Achiote-marinated Pork with Avocado Spread and Tomatillo Salsa, served with Spanish Rice and Refried Beans, topped with Queso Fresco

The tortillas are chalky, which is unfortunate as the pork is excellent. The pineapple-achiote marinade has a little kick and the citrus brings out the flavors of the meat. Unfortunately, to have a good taco, you need good tortillas.

Chocolate Cake Flan – $7.49

Layer of Flan on Chocolate Cake with Caramel

We love flan, but there’s something off about this take on the dessert. The cake base doesn’t blend well with the top portion of flan. We don’t think it works well together. There’s also not a whole lot going on with the custard.

*NEW* Ponche de Frutas – $6.99

Traditional Mexican Cold Fruit Punch

The first note we get is regular fruit punch, but it changes a bit on the back end to give more of that holiday flavor. The pears and guava threw us off initially, but the drink ended up being more complex than we had anticipated.

*NEW* Ponche Cocktail – $18.50

Traditional Mexican Cold Fruit Punch with Tequila

The tequila honestly makes this drink worse. We did not enjoy the taste at all. The alcohol made the punch taste more bitter. It might be someone’s thing, but not ours.
