The Pinocchio Village Haus restrooms in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom have reopened after an almost year-long refurbishment. The restrooms were first scheduled for refurbishment in early 2023 but didn’t end up closing until early 2024.

The restrooms are between the Pinocchio-themed restaurant and a castle wall. Two archways lead into a small courtyard.

A charming building with arched entryways and balconies under a partly cloudy sky. People stand near the entrances.

Though this entire area was blocked off during the closure, it seems the courtyard wasn’t significantly updated. It has the same stone flooring.

There are a pair of water fountains. The stone walls and yellow-tan archway around the water fountains appear to have been repainted.

An emergency defibrillator and a telephone are on a pair of doors in the courtyard. There is a backstage entrance.

The Pinocchio Village Haus restrooms have new wood-style signs. The men’s room is labeled “Herren,” German for “Men” (the Pinocchio story is Italian but Disney’s version has German influence). An oval-shaped sign features a stylized version of the man symbol with a green leaf at the top.

The women’s room is labeled “Damen” – “Ladies” in German. The oval sign has the woman symbol and a pink flower.

The restrooms were previously labeled “Prince” and “Princess.”

There’s a matching oval-shaped sign for the companion restroom featuring symbols for a wheelchair-user, a man, and a woman. The companion restroom has a brown wood door.

A wooden sign with painted floral details designates a women's restroom. The sign has a yellow background with the word "Women" and a figure symbol. Braille is visible beneath the text.

Signs next to the actual restroom doors feature small gable roofs and green filigree. The edges are brown wood while the center is pale yellow. “Women” or “Men” is in brown lettering. The respective symbol is also in brown.

We did notice an issue. These decals were placed over pre-existing signs, and the new words and stylized symbols don’t match up with the old ones. This means the old raised image shows through the decal in a weird way.

Inside, the Pinocchio Village Haus restrooms have been completely overhauled. Previously, the restrooms had plain white and blue walls, blue and gray tile floors, and speckled stall doors. It was a boring standard restroom.

As originally announced, the restrooms have been expanded to include more stalls and sinks. The women’s room has gone from 16 to 25 stalls and the men’s room has gone from 4 to 9. The new sinks are on columns lined up in the center of the rooms.

The walls are now partially covered in gray stone-style tiles. The gray section is topped by stripes of blue and red tiles. A built-in trash can is next to the fire alarm near the door.

In the women’s room are two baby-changing stations. A paper towel dispenser and trash can are built into the column between them.

The baby-changing counters are light blue, the same color as the sink counters. The stations have scalloped lower edges.

Above each station is a square-shaped sign featuring pink petals and a baby symbol. There are also decorative tiles featuring floral designs.

Next to the baby-changing stations is a counter with one long basin and two faucets. There are two soap dispensers and one Dyson hand dryer.

Two stainless steel sanitary product dispensers on a tiled wall, each with coin slots and dial mechanisms for dispensing items costing $0.50.

The women’s room also has two period product dispensers. Tampons and pads are 50 cents each.

The new wood-style doors are red with carved elements. The supports between them are a gray-brown color.

The doors have black decorative hardware.

The backs of the doors are solid red with no decorations. The floors of the sink area are light-colored tile while the stalls have wood-style floors.

Each standard stall has two toilet paper dispensers, a small trash can, a seat cover dispenser above the toilet, and a hook on the wall.

Each restroom has a new large accessible stall. These have square-shaped signs with green leaf designs and a wheelchair logo.

A caution sign with a slipping figure icon reads "CAUTION FLOOR MAY BE WET," mounted on a floral-decorated frame on a tiled wall.

A built-in “Caution: Floor May Be Wet” sign matches the baby-changing and accessible stall signs. It’s wood-style with green leaves around the edge.
