More new “Play in the Park” merchandise is available at Walt Disney World. This series features playful artwork of Mickey & Friends enjoying Disney attractions. The first “Play in the Park” collection was released in 2021. This new collection began appearing at Walt Disney World this month.
We found this merchandise in various locations, including Riverside Depot and Island Mercantile in Disney’s Animal Kingdom; World of Disney in Disney Springs; Main Street Cinema, Uptown Jewelers, and Fantasy Faire in Magic Kingdom; and Creations Shop in EPCOT.
Autograph Book – $27.99
This book is blue with a colorful retro-style image of Mickey & Friends running together on the front. Behind them are the icons of each Walt Disney World theme park: Spaceship Earth, Cinderella Castle, the Tree of Life, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. The icons are set against a pale purple background with clouds, stars, a Soarin’ hang glider and the Millennium Falcon. “Walt Disney World” is in yellow lettering down the side of the cover.
The book comes with a clicky pen. It’s purple and yellow with various parks iconography. The end is a teal Mickey balloon. The pen slides into a yellow elastic band.
There’s a corner cut off the cover of the book so the Mickey balloon pen topper is visible.
On the back is more parks imagery, including Pluto riding Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Goofy and Donald in a Space Mountain rocket, and Minnie in a yellow Mad Tea Party teacup. The autograph book has 25 4″ x 6″ photo sleeves.
Deluxe Figurine Set – $34.99
This set includes seven figurines of Mickey and his friends. The yellow packaging features colorful stars and an image of Mickey with the “Play in the Park” wordmark in blue.
The Minnie figurine is holding a royal wand. Mickey is carrying some kind of snack. Goofy’s arms are full with popcorn, a shopping bag, a ticket, an autograph book, and a pennant.
Donald is holding a map of the park. Dale has a pennant and sits on Chip’s soldiers. Pluto and Daisy aren’t holding any props.
The back of the packaging is blue with Mickey & Friends pictured around the “Play in the Park” wordmark in yellow.
Mickey Doll – $39.99
This Mickey doll comes with some of his own “Play in the Park” accessories.
He’s wearing orange sunglasses and a denim vest painted with a Disney castle and Ferris wheel (the Pixar Pal-a-Round from Disney California Adventure). Clouds are on his sleeves. He’s holding a teal Mickey-shaped balloon.
Mickey’s “wearing” orange pants — these are actually just the color of his plastic legs — and white shoes with blue fake laces.
HIs interchangeable accessories include a yellow pullover hoodie. On the front is the façade of “it’s a small world” surrounded by fireworks. He also has purple headphones, a popcorn bucket, and a pink drink.
The back shows different ways you can dress up Mickey.
Minnie Doll – $39.99
There’s a matching Minnie Mouse doll. Minnie wears a ruffled pink striped dress.
On her head is a teal lace bow. She’s wearing sunglasses with white frames and pink lenses. She carries a coffee cup and white purse.
On her feet are pink plastic sandals with bows on the ankles.
Minnie’s extra apparel includes a pink skirt with stars and zig-zags and a white and orange raglan tee featuring a sun and rainbow. The other outfit is a denim skirt with daisies and a yellow smiley face, and a yellow shirt with a big orange striped bow. Her extra accessory is a pineapple drink.
Snack Tumbler – $19.99
This tumbler is designed to hold a drink and a snack. It has a clear cup with a green rim. It includes a purple reusable straw.
Pictured on the cup is the retro Walt Disney World wordmark in white against a pink background with orange and yellow borders. A green pathway winds around the wordmark, with different Disney Parks destinations pictured along the path: Spaceship Earth, Expedition Everest, “it’s a small world,” and more.
Chip and Dale are pictured below the wordmark. Mickey and Minnie are pictured riding Mad Tea Party.
Goofy and Donald are blasting off in a Space Mountain rocket.
The other side of the cup is blank. Its hinged lid is domed with two Mickey Mouse ears, like an ear hat.
Beneath the lid is a blue silicone cup which can hold a snack. The straw goes through a hole on the edge of the silicone, so you can drink without compromising the snacks.
Snowglobe – $39.99
This snowglobe sits on a pink base. Sculpted figures are attached to the sides of the base and sit inside the globe.
ON one side of the base are Minnie and Mickey in a Mad Tea Party teacup.
On the other side, Goofy and Donald are in a purple rocket with a blue streak behind them winding around the base.
Inside the globe, Pluto is in a Dumbo ride vehicle. It’s suspended above Cinderella Castle. The “snow” includes shiny Mickey heads.
The back of the snowglobe base is blank.
Magnet – $19.99
The silicone magnet features the retro Mickey globe logo in white against a teal background. It’s surrounded by a white border, followed by thinner magenta, red, and yellow stripes forming a “D.” The retro Walt Disney World wordmark, incorporating the Mickey globe, is along the bottom in blue. On the right is Mickey with his fist in the air. Sunglasses, a ticket, clouds, and stars are around him. Cinderella Castle, in gray and blue, is on the other side with an autograph book and cup of DOLE Whip.
Pen Set – $19.99
This set includes five pens, each featuring a different character. The blue pen is Donald, the red pen is Minnie, the green pen is Mickey, the yellow pen is Goofy, and the purple pen is Daisy. The characters are pictured on the sides with park iconography, as well as on silicone medallions near the top of the pen.
Loungefly Mini Backpack – $79
This is a standard shaped Loungefly mini backpack. There’s a main double zip compartment, small front zip compartment, and two side slip pockets. It features an all-over pattern of squares and rectangles with white borders. In the boxes are images of Mickey & Friends enjoying different Disney Parks attractions.
The zippers have blue fabric trim followed by teal pleather trim. The insides of the slip pockets and the piping around the bottom of the bag are also teal.
The top carry handle and padded straps are teal.
The pattern continues onto the back of the bag.
The interior lining is teal with a pattern of parks iconography.
Loungefly Wallet – $50
The wallet features the same exterior pattern as the backpack. A teal Disney Parks | Loungefly label is on the front, atop a blue patch.
The pattern is on the front and back of the wallet. It zips around three sides.
The interior is solid blue with several card slots, a bill slot, and a zip pouch.
Ball Cap – $29.99
This is a blue hat with decorative stitching across the brim and embroidered eyelets on the cap.
“Walt Disney World” is embroidered in white thread across the front panel. Screen printed behind it is an image of Mickey with an ice cream cone in front of the castle.
The back of the hat is blank. It has an adjustable strap with a silvertone buckle.
Onesie – $19.99
The key art of Mickey & friends running in front of Disney Parks icons is on the front of this heather gray onesie.
There are embroidered details, like fireworks, stars, and “Walt Disney World” across the bottom. A smiling sun and rainbow are also at the top of the artwork.
The Play in the Park logo with Mickey is on one sleeve. It has snaps on the back.
Adult Button-Up Shirt – $64.99
This short-sleeved button-up is blue with a notched open collar. It’s covered in images of Mickey and his friends, as well as Disney Parks imagery like the castle, sunglasses, autograph books, and DOLE Whip.
Adult Spirit Jersey – $79.99
The Spirit Jersey is blue with a pattern across the bottom half.
There are colorful stars and dots among Disney Parks imagery. Mickey and his friends are pictured riding different attractions.
In puffy paint on the chest is the retro Walt Disney World Mickey globe logo with “Est. 1971.” A Mickey ear hat is atop the logo. A Mickey balloon is to the side.
“Walt Disney World” is across the back in puffy white paint with a blue border.
Above the words are Donald, Pluto, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy jumping and running. The castle, in pink and blue, is between them with a rainbow over it.
Adult Hoodie – $64.99
This is a white pullover with a drawstring hoodie. “Walt Disney World” is in blue with black borders on the front. The words are surrounded by colorful parks iconography.
Adult Sweatshirt – $59.99
Mickey and Minnie are pictured riding Space Mountain on the front of this sweatshirt. They look gleeful in their rocket as it whips around the moon. White stars dot the blue sweatshirt around them.
“Play in the Park” is embroidered in green, white, and blue next to Mickey and Minnie. Some of the stars are also embroidered.
“Walt Disney World” is down the side of the pullover in white.
Youth Sweatshirt – $39.99
The youth sweatshirt has a similar design to the adult one. It’s blue with the same artwork of Minnie and Mickey riding Space Mountain on the front.
Stars and “Play in the Park” are embroidered around them.
“Walt Disney World” is down the left sleeve.
Goofy and Donald are pictured on the back, looking much more frightened in their Space Mountain rocket. The moon is pictured more in the distance on the back.
