REVIEW: New Ice Cream Bucket, Everything Cookie, and Caramel-Churro Shake are Big Blockbusters at Disney’s All-Star Movies

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is now serving the “At The Movies” Ice Cream Bucket, Mickey-Shaped Everything Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Salted Caramel-Churro Shake.

Disney announced the new treats earlier this week. All three are available from the Coffee and Ice Cream Shop in World Premiere Food Court.

“At The Movies” Ice Cream Bucket – $13.99

Caramel popcorn, TWIX cookie bar pieces, M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies, SNICKERS bar pieces, chocolate and caramel sauces, whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles

A popcorn cup filled with ice cream, topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry, sits on an outdoor table.

This has to be consumed by a group, preferably a group with kids. One adult would barely make a dent in this sugary mess. We think there was about 2 pounds of ice cream in the bucket. We got the classic combo of chocolate and vanilla swirl.

A cup of popcorn topped with whipped cream, two cherries, and colorful sprinkles on a gray table.

It mostly just tastes like ice cream. Once it starts to melt, you won’t know what toppings you’re eating because it’s all mixed. This is a kids’ dream come true and might be some adults’ nightmare, but we think a family who wants ice cream after a long park day will enjoy it.

Mickey-Shaped Everything Chocolate Chip Cookie – $5.99

Topped with M&M’S chocolate candies, TWIX cookie bar pieces, SNICKERS bar pieces, and chocolate ganache

The original description of this cookie released by Disney said it was drizzled with caramel but it turned out to be chocolate ganache. And it mostly tastes like chocolate.

The cookie is soft, almost like a cupcake. Every bite has chocolate, whether it be the ganache or one of the candies. If you need some sugar for your third day of rope drop, this is for you.

Salted Caramel-Churro Shake – $7.99

Salted caramel-vanilla shake with cinnamon-sugar churro and whipped cream

A caramel milkshake topped with whipped cream, two churros, crushed cookies, and a green-striped straw, placed on a gray table.

The shake was our favorite of the three new offerings. It’s certainly one way to make a hard Walt Disney World churro edible. After soaking in the shake, the churro was soft and chewable.

The shake tastes more like cinnamon than caramel. But that made it delicious. It reminded us of an apple pie shake.
