Weeds Removed from the Top of the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Last week on December 3, we reported about a small plant making its home on the exterior of the Millennium Falcon.

While in the queue for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, a plant could be seen from the windows, growing on the exterior surface of the ship.

After reports of the plant caught interest online, Disney has since removed the small plant.

According to the story of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the Millennium Falcon is flown frequently which would make it quite difficult for foliage to withstand traveling through the galaxy at hyperspeed.

The Millennium Falcon at Walt Disney World began taking guests on daring missions through the galaxy on August 29, 2019.

Three people inside a spacecraft cockpit observe a fiery explosion outside while one of them points towards it. A figure in a Mandalorian suit is visible floating outside the window.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run simulates a thrilling flight through the galaxy aboard the one and only Millennium Falcon. Riding in the famous cockpit of the Falcon, each guest is part of the action with all hands on deck. Every role, whether a pilot, engineer, or gunner, is crucial on this spirited and adventurous mission.
