Disneyland Resort has announced that a new “World of Color” nighttime spectacular — “World of Color Happiness!” will debut next year as part of its 70th anniversary celebrations.

This new show takes inspiration from Walt Disney’s opening day park dedication for Disneyland Park from 70 years ago: “To all who come to this happy place…welcome!”
“World of Color Happiness!” will explore “‘happy’ through a kaleidoscope of emotions,” as hosted by Joy and the other emotions from Pixar’s “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2.”
During the show, the Emotions will manifest music and memorable moments from Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios films, including “A Goofy Movie,” “Turning Red,” “Tangled,” “The Lion King,” and more. Concept art also includes “Encanto,” “Wish,” “Frozen,” and “The Little Mermaid.”
“World of Color Happiness” will utilize its signature fountains, dynamic lighting, colorful lasers, fog, dramatic flame effects, and water projections to transform Paradise Bay. The new show will debut on May 16, 2025.
Currently, “World of Color” is presented as “World of Color – Season of Light” for the festive season, with a special “Moana 2” pre-show. You can watch our video below:
