According to the Walt Disney World website, Blizzard Beach will be closed on Saturday, January 4, 2025. At this time, the water park does have operating hours for Sunday, January 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., though that could change if temperatures remain too low.

Weather-related closures are common for Blizzard Beach, which has experienced multiple closures this winter due to low temperatures. At the time of publication, Weather.com shows a high of 64°F and a low of 44°F on Saturday. Currently, the temperature for Walt Disney World sits at a chilly 48°F.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is still closed for the season. Due to weather, Universal Volcano Bay water park is closed today, January 3, but will reopen tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In 2025, guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel will receive free admission to either Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park on their check-in day, depending on which park is open at the time.
