The Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. It is for Inland Volusia, Northern Lake, Orange, Seminole, and Southern Lake counties. Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are located in Orange county.

The National Weather Service predicts cold wind chills with freezing temperatures as low as 25 degrees.

The advisory warns residents and guests:

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed through today and expected to reopen tomorrow, January 22, however, the freezing temps could cause the closure to be extended.
