Magic Kingdom
- After a brief 1-day closure, the TRON Identity Program at Magic Kingdom is once again fully operational for guests.
- The Buzz Lightyear animatronic in Magic Kingdom is now operating again after having just one day of downtime.
EPCOT
- Crews have added plywood over the structural addition to the Hotel du Canada facade in EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Crews continue to work on Everything POP Shopping and Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, now moving to repaint the ceiling.
- The Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is closing this month for routine refurbishment.
New Merchandise
- Many new Mickey and Minnie apparel items have arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort, including a new Minnie Mouse denim jacket, Mickey baseball jersey, and lots more.
- This year marks the 50th anniversary of Space Mountain at Walt Disney World and two new limited edition pins are available to commemorate the milestone.
- Celebrate your love this season with a Chewbacca “You’re My Chew Love” Valentine’s Day t-shirt.
Disneyland Resort
- Magic Key holders can take advantage of an exclusive souvenir pin giveaway and photo op happening now at the Disneyland Resort.
- A new Tangaroa Cooler souvenir tiki mug is now available at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel.
- We are pleased to report that the Steak Frites entrée has finally returned to the menu at Café Orleans.
- Two new menu options have arrived at Cafe Daisy in Disneyland Park, including a brand new beverage and some returning donuts.
- Mardi Gras is just around the corner and a new Mardi Gras churro is now available at Disneyland to celebrate the holiday.
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line has confirmed that it will build a fourth Wish-class ship before moving to a new, smaller class design.
Entertainment and Media
- Anita Bryant, a singer and pitchwoman known as the vocalist of the Orange Bird song and for her anti-gay campaigns, died December 16, 2024, at 84 years old.
- Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery have scrapped their plans to create the bundled sports streaming service Venu Sports, which would show all their game telecasts and studio programs.

- The Walt Disney Company has just released a statement on the official Disney Parks Blog announcing a commitment of $15 Million to help those impacted by the fires still sweeping across Los Angeles.
