Starting January 21, 2025, Walt Disney World Resort will expand the Lightning Lane Premier Pass offering to all guests, regardless of whether they are staying on property.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass Now Available for All Guests
The booking window will be consistent with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, offering guests the chance to purchase this option in advance of their trip. Guests can buy Lightning Lane Premier Passes for days they hold valid theme park admission starting at 7 a.m. ET on their first day of eligibility.
Previously, this option was limited to only those staying in a Disney Resort hotel.
Those staying at a Disney Resort hotel or other select hotels can purchase their Lightning Lane Premier Passes starting seven (7) days before the first day of their stay, for the length of their stay, up to 14 days. This benefit is available for guests staying at the following resorts:
- Disney Resort hotels
- Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
- Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
- Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
- Shades of Green Resort
Guests not staying at a Disney Resort hotel can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes up to three (3) days in advance. This can vary depending on admission type.
Guests with date-based theme park tickets, which require guests to choose a start date at the time of purchase, can purchase three days before the first day of their ticket, for the total number of valid admission days on their ticket.
Guests with other ticket types, as well as Annual Passholders, can purchase three days before their park visit.
Per Disney, this is the only update to Lightning Lane Premier Pass at this time, and it continues to be offered in limited quantities. Guests looking to learn more can visit DisneyWorld.com/LightningLanePremierPass.
