The scrims have been removed from the windows of the Biotechnology Lab at The Living with the Land attraction in EPCOT allowing guests to see inside the lab once more.
Living with the Land Biotechnology Lab

Just a few days ago, we reported that the Biotechnology lab at the Living with the Land attraction was blocked from guests’ views as black scrim had been set up.
Two large white panels were also placed in front of the windows, along with potted plants and a green Land Pavillion icon.

During our recent visit, we noticed the scrims had been removed and the view of the lab was no longer blocked. We saw a Cast Member actively working within the lab as well.
According to a Cast Member we spoke with, they were aware the lab had been covered but were uncertain as to the reason why.

We speculate that the lighting may be new as the Cast Member informed us that the lighting being used could not really be brightened, however, we are currently unable to confirm this information.

Bright pink lights can be seen inside the lab due to the lighting installed on some of the shelves. Guests can see experiments scientists are running as they pass by the lab on the boat. Occasionally a Hidden Mickey will be placed in the window by Cast members.

Living with the Land is a slow-moving boat ride that educates guests about the importance of sustainable agriculture. The boat takes guests through operational greenhouses in addition to indoor scenes. A waterfall effect in the indoor rainforest scene was also recently restored.
