This photo shows an animator touching up Cruella de Vil’s hair. As we reported previously, the new show will take place on the Sunset Showcase stage previously used by Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, which closed last October.

A person skillfully uses a stylus to draw a character on a graphics tablet, bringing to life a blue-haired figure reminiscent of the unique charm found in Disney Villains.

This photo shows an illustrator working on an image of Hades from 1997’s Hercules. Hades, the fast-talking villain voiced in the film by James Woods, may have made Hercules miserable but he also made himself a fan favorite villain.

Two people in casual attire review digital artwork on a monitor, possibly brainstorming for an Unfairly Ever After project. Various framed images, including some iconic Disney Villains, hang on the wall behind them.

The final image features two individuals reviewing the stage setup. The staging concept art was released last week.

No exact date has been set for the opening of this new show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but is scheduled to arrive in the summer of 2025.
