Comicbookmovie.com also reported on the rumors that Natalie Portman may be in talks to reprise her role of Padmé Amidala for the second season of “Ahsoka.”

While it’s uncertain where Amidala would fit within the series, there is speculation that she could appear via the World Between Worlds, a realm in which Ahsoka encountered her old Jedi Master in the first season. She could also appear in flashbacks, like those used in “Obi-Wan Kenobi.”

Production on “Ahsoka” season 2 is scheduled to begin later this year. The main cast are all expected to return as well. Rory McCann from Game of Thrones will be taking over the role of Baylan Skoll from the late Ray Stevenson.

“Ahsoka” is a spin-off from “The Mandalorian,” and Disney+ describes the series as “former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.”

In April of 2024, Star Tours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios added new sequences featuring Ahsoka to the attraction.
