New Her Universe Mickey apparel has arrived at Walt Disney World. We first spotted this new collection at Star Traders located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.
The collection features a cardigan, overalls, t-shirt, and letterman-style jacket and resembles a quarter-zip sweatshirt that was posted by Her Universe in a sneak peak on Instagram.
Mickey Cardigan – $64.99
Created by Her Universe, the cardigan features blocked sections of green, pink, white, and teal with coordinating colors on the sleeves. The sleeves also have white stripes at elbow height and on the wristband. The trimming is also striped with bronze buttons up the center.
On the right breast, Mickey Mouse’s name is embroidered along with a “thumbs-up” glove at the edge. On the left breast, is an embroidered “M” with a pink background and black outline. A teal banner with “Mickey” lays across the letter while a small Mickey head is below.
The back of the cardigan has the same color blocking as the front.
Mickey Overalls – $64.99
The new Mickey overalls are blue-jean material in the body with white shoulder straps and belt loops. Mickey is featured on the pocket and the overalls have pastel pink clasps and hardware such as the buttons just above the pockets.
The white pocket has an embroidered Mickey that is highlighted in the same pink of the clasps. The shoulder straps end with a Mickey shaped buckle loop which attaches to a button which also has a Mickey and Disney trademark.
The white shoulder straps continue to the upper back of the overalls, leading to a faded blue-jean material. Below the straps, there is an “X” shaped belt loop and white back pockets.
Each pocket has an embroidered design. One is a Mickey glove throwing a peace sign outlined in black while the other is the same signature and Mickey glove from the cardigan but in black stitching.
Mickey T-Shirt – $39.99
This off-white Mickey t-shirt has a teal collar and Mickey Mouse showcased in the middle.
Mickey is smiling in this up-close look at the ribbed material of the shirt and embroidered appliqué. His ears and facial features are in the same teal color.
Mickey Jacket – $89.99
The last item we found is this detailed Mickey Mouse letterman-style jacket. The collared jacket is mostly pink with off-white sleeves. The elastic banding of both the sleeves and bottom are stripped and the jacket closes with pink buttons. It has pockets on both sides and embroidered details on the top and bottom including the same Mickey signature from other collection items.
In an up-close look at two of the embroidered appliqués, we see a chenille “M” similar to that of the cardigan. Located on the bottom right is a smiling Mickey taking a stroll. He is colored in a lighter and darker pink than the rest of the jacket.
The back of the jacket has a large graphic of a running Mickey Mouse with the test “The Original Mickey” above and below the smiling mouse. Mickey is wearing pink shorts while the rest of him is classic black and white. “The Original” is embroidered in a thin, cursive print while “Mickey” is written in a bold, block style with blue swirls across parts of the letters.
Located in Star Traders, Cast Members have styled the collection on a mannequin wearing the t-shirt and overalls together.
Other new merchandise has arrived around the parks such as new Haunted Mansion Bride ears at Magic Kingdom and Daredevil Mask at EPCOT.
