The new Disney Storyland Boutique has recently opened at the Downtown Disney District, and we spotted several new merchandise items during our tour of the new location.
Disney Storyland Boutique takes over the former Wonderground Gallery and temporary Disney Dress Shop storefront. If you want a closer look at the design of the new store, we recently posted a full photo tour article.
Jaq Keychain – $14.99
Our first new Storyland Boutique item is a small plush keychain shaped like Jaq from “Cinderella.” Jaq is wearing his classic red jacket and shirt. He has a surprised, somewhat scared expression on his face.
Gus Keychain – $14.99
Gus is the same size plush keychain as Jaq. Gus also looks startled by something and has his hands on the sides of his face.
Lucifer Plush – $44.99
This large plush shows Lucifer the cat, also from “Cinderella.” Lucifer stands on a purple pillow and has white blobs of what appears to be bubbles or snow across sections of his fur.
The rest of Lucifer’s body hangs off the back of the pillow. His body is made of fuzzy grey material, and his tail has longer fur on the tip.
Marie Plush – $34.99
We also found a plush shaped like Marie from “The Aristocats.” Marie is a bit smaller in size than Lucifer, but bigger than the keychains. Marie has a light pink collar with a large bow on her back.
Berlioz Plush – $34.99
While a few Marie plushies have been spotted in the parks, the new Storyland Boutique also carries plush of Marie’s brothers. Berlioz is Marie’s music-loving brother who plays the piano. Berlioz is black with a white chest and a thin red collar.
Toulouse Plush – $34.99
The third of the cat siblings is Toulouse, who is very artistic and loves to paint. Toulouse is a bright orange color with brown eyes. His blue collar has a floppy bow tied in the front.
Sakura Eeyore – $34.99
This pink plush is the first of several items from the Sakura Collection, which is a line of pink plush holding sakura flowers originally released in Japan. Most items from the collection can be found on the Disney Store Japan website. This Sakura Eeyore is pink and white. Eeyore holds a small fabric flower in his hands, and a second glower is perched on top of his head. The entire plush is covered in silky fluff with a spiral wave texture.
Sakura Eeyore Keychain – $14.99
Several of the plushies in the Sakura Collection also have a small keychain companion plush. The Eeyore keychain is in the same pose and colors as his full-size plush, but they keychain is made of a shorter-length fluffy material instead of the silky fluff.
Sakura Pooh – $34.99
The second full-size Sakura Collection plush is shaped like Winnie the Pooh. Pooh is mostly yellow, but the color is more muted and has hints of pink on his cheeks. Pooh also holds a fabric flower in his hands and has a second flower attached to his right ear.
Sakura Piglet – $34.99
Not to be left out, Piglet is also included in the Sakura Collection as a full-size plush. Piglet is already pink, but the colors have been made a bit more pastel. Like the other large plush, Piglet is covered in a silky fluff material with spiral waves. The sakura flowers are placed in his hands and on his left ear.
Sakura Piglet Keychain – $14.99
Similar to Eeyore, the small Piglet keychain uses the same main colors and pose as the large sakura plush. However, the keychain is much smaller, has shorter fluff, and does not have the second flower attached to his left ear.
Sakura Stitch – $34.99
For all of the Stitch lovers, there is also a Stitch Sakura Collection plush. Stitch is cotton candy pink with a lighter pink belly. As with the others, Stitch holds a sakura flower in his hands and a second flower is on his head. Stitch’s ears are soft and floppy.
Sakura Stitch Keychain – $14.99
The Stitch keychain is a slightly lighter shade of pink than the full-size plush. No flower is attached to the keychain’s ear. The Stitch keychain is about palm-sized.
Pooh and Piglet Pouch – $24.99
Apart from the sakura plush, the Storyland Boutique also carries this matching Sakura Collection zipper pouch. The pouch is made of pink pleather and has a transparent dome on one side. The pouch has two zipper areas. One zipper runs around the base and opens the flat covered area toward the bottom. The second zipper runs in a semicircle across the top of the bag and opens the visible section. The inside has an image of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet gathering sakura flowers together.
Sakura Baymax – $44.99
The final new plush at the Storyland Boutique is slightly larger than the others in the Sakura Collection. Baymax is his usual white color and is not made of the same longer fluffy material as the other plushies in the set. Baymax has a pink flower attached to his right leg and on his head. He also holds a stick of dango snacks in his left hand. Like most of the other Sakura collection items, Baymax can also be found on the Disney Store Japan website.
