Wide walkway lined with trees leads to a beige, round building with red accents and a guitar sign, reminiscent of the iconic Hard Rock Cafe at Universal Orlando CityWalk. People stroll through the sunny area, admiring the recent roof repainting that adds a fresh touch.

In addition to the construction work being completed for the Universal Studios Store expansion, we also noticed some repairs being made to the Hard Rock Cafe on our lastest visit to CityWalk. When rounding the corner near the entrance to the cafe, a large orange crane lift can be spotted.

This tall lift is holding two construction crew members directly above the Hard Rock Cafe’s red domed roof.

A second crane lift is stationed to the right of the red dome. Two construction crew members were inside the lift holding long paint rollers.

Zooming in on the roof, it is clear which sections have been freshly painted. The slice directly above the Hard Rock Cafe sign is still in need of fresh paint. Some flaws and bubbles are still present on the newly-painted sections, but it is possible the crew members will go back to place a second coat of paint once this first one completely dries.
