Disneyland Resort has announced that room refurbishments are coming to the standard rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Room Refurbishments for Disney’s Grand Californian

Hotel room with a king-size bed, floral wallpaper, a wall-mounted TV, a desk, and a cushioned chair. The room has warm lighting and a view into a hallway with a hanging bathrobe.

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will soon begin refreshing all its guest rooms, including the Disney Vacation Club Villas at the resort. Mainly a soft goods refurbishment, the updated décor will complement the rooms’ existing Arts & Crafts aesthetic, while adding new, bold colors across the carpets, upholstery, and bedding.

Accents in these soft goods will be inspired by the California wildflower blooms found in Impressionistic plein air paintings that helped define the Arts & Crafts period. Each room will also see new artwork commissioned from local plein air painters.

In addition to these room refurbishments, Disney’s Grand Californian will also remodel Napa Rose Restaurant and add a second club-level lounge.
