EMMET ‘DOC’ BROWN AUDITION PROMPT:
Here’s a red-letter date in the history of science – November 5, 1955. Yes, of course, November 5, 1955… That was the day I invented time travel. I remember it vividly. I was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porcelain was wet, I slipped, hit my head on the edge of the sink. And when I came to, I had a revelation – a vision!

MARTY MCFLY AUDITION PROMPT:
Jesus, George, it’s a wonder I was even born. Look, there’s somebody you’re gonna meet, somebody who’s gonna change your life. Do you know what she’s gonna say? She’s gonna say, ‘George McFly, I love you. She’s gonna say that because you’re gonna stand up for yourself and have confidence. Don’t you see? You’re somebody! She’s waiting for you to ask her to the dance!”

LORRAINE MCFLY AUDITION PROMPT:
Calvin… is that your name? Calvin Klein? It’s written all over your underwear! You’re different… not like the boys at school. They’re so… immature. But you, you’ve got a certain… charm. You’re not from around here, are you?
You don’t seem to care about what people think. I admire that about you.

GEORGE MCFLY AUDITION PROMPT:
Lorraine… she’d never say yes to someone like me. I mean, just look at her! She’s perfect. And me? I’m… me. You know, I’ve always wanted to be a writer. I love coming up with these crazy stories about spaceships and aliens and… time travel. But what’s the point? Who’s gonna want to read anything written by George McFly?

BIFF TANNEN AUDITION PROMPT:
Hey, McFly! I told you, never come in here! You’re supposed to finish my homework so I can copy it before class. Do you realize what would happen if I turned in my own work? Now, why don’t you make like a tree and get out of here!

PRINCIPAL STRICKLAND AUDITION PROMPT:
McFly! Late again, I see. That’s the third time this week. Do you think I run this school for my health?! You know what your problem is? You’re just like your father. A slacker. No drive. No ambition. Always one step behind.

GOLDIE WILSON AUDITION PROMPT:
One day, I’m gonna get out of this place. I’m tellin’ you, I’m not gonna be bussin’ tables forever. Nope. Someday, I’m gonna be Mayor Goldie Wilson!
If you believe in yourself and work hard enough, anything’s possible. Don’t you think so?

CLOCKTOWER LADY AUDITION PROMPT:
Save the clocktower! Save the clocktower! Young man, did you know this clocktower was struck by lightning back in 1955? It’s been frozen in time ever since—a piece of Hill Valley history! Mayor Wilson is sponsoring a campaign to restore it to its former glory, and we need every penny we can get

FEMALE ROLE – LORRAINE’S FRIEND AUDITION PROMPT:
Lorraine, who is that? He’s kinda cute, don’t you think? I mean, in that mysterious, ‘I’m-too-cool-for-school’ kind of way. Oh, don’t play innocent with me. I saw the way you looked at him. You’ve got that dreamy, faraway look in your eyes. Spill it, girl! What’s his name? Where’s he from? You should go talk to him!

MALE ROLE – BIFF’S SIDEKICK AUDITION PROMPT:
Hey, McFly! You gonna write me a poem or somethin’? ‘Dear T-Bone, you’re so cool!’ Man, this guy’s a riot. He can barely talk without trippin’ over his own words. Don’t worry, McFly, we’ll save you a seat at the loser table. Right next to your big ol’ stack of comic books.
