The third installment of the Avatar series, “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” gives us a new look at the “Ash Clan,” the Na’vi Wind Traders, and new context for the Windtraders shop in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Wind Traders from ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’
Empire Magazine shared a first look at a new group of Na’vi called the Wind Traders from the upcoming film, “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” on social media.
The Wind Traders “corral gigantic Pandoran creatures to soar among the clouds,” according to Empire. James Cameron, the film’s director, describes them as “nomadic traders, equivalent to the camel caravans of the Spice Road back in the Middle Ages.”
And you know, they’re just fun. Like all Na’vi, they live in a symbiosis with their creatures. If you’ve got any nautical blood in your veins, you’ll want to be on their ship.

The story of this new group of Na’vi now gives a new context to the Windtraders shop located in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
At Windtraders, guests can purchase items ranging from Na’vi cultural artifacts and animal toys to science kits and Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE) apparel.
There’s also the ACE Avatar Maker experience, where an Alpha Centauri Expedition Scan Technician will capture your facial features and upload your unique data profile onto the Hybrid Digitizing System.

The upcoming film, “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” will see the next chapter of the Sully story take Jake and Neytiri’s family into unexplored territory, where they’ll encounter a new group of Na’vi with their own unique connection to the land. The film will be released theatrically on December 19, 2025.
