One of the large wooden Frontierland signs is now missing from its arch.

This photo is of the large archway near Pirates of the Caribbean and Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland. The arch separates what is officially the end of Adventureland from the beginning of Frontierland. Normally, a large wooden sign hanging from this arch tells guests which land they are now entering.

A wooden structure with a peaked roof, beams, and terracotta tiles, reminiscent of Frontierland's rustic charm in Magic Kingdom. It features a wrapped section and a hanging lantern, perfectly blending into the park's adventurous ambiance.

You get a better look at the blank space on the opposite side of the arch. This wooden support beam is where the rustic sign usually hangs. The beam is now wrapped in a tan protective tarp.

People in raincoats huddle under a covered entrance to Frontierland at Disney's Magic Kingdom, seeking refuge from the wet day. They're surrounded by yellow and brown archways with a star design on the floor, reminiscent of Hurricane Milton's unexpected visit.

This photo is from our article on the preparations for Hurricane Milton, but it shows the hanging sign in its normal place. The opposite side of the sign tells guests exiting Frontierland that they are entering Adventureland.

No official announcement has been made regarding the Frontierland sign, so we will have to wait and see if this removal is a part of routine maintenance or related to some of the larger construction projects taking place in Frontierland.
