Team Members at Universal Orlando Resort received information for preview opportunities at Universal Epic Universe, which will be starting within the next week. While there will be friends and family previews coming shortly, today’s message indicated this round of previews will be for one Team Member only.
Read the message from Universal below:
“Our teams are hard at work getting ready to open Universal Epic Universe to the public — and now it’s almost time for you to step through the Portals and explore this brand-new park before anyone else!
Team Member Preview will take place in two phases. The first phase will be Exclusive Team Member Preview, from March 1 through March 7. The second phase will include family and will be announced as details are finalized.

For this Exclusive Team Member Preview phase, Team Members will receive one (1) ticket they may use for entry on one (1) day.
All Team Members will be required to reserve their spot to attend the Exclusive Preview period via the External Ticket Distribution System (ETDS). Ticket reservations will open on Wednesday, February 26, at 8:30 a.m.
Starting at 8 a.m., Team Members who log into ETDS will be placed in a virtual waiting room until 8:30 a.m., when they will move forward into a virtual line. During this time, Team Members will not be able to reserve any other tickets or products through ETDS until they have made it through the virtual line and are granted access to the system. We appreciate your patience and understanding if you experience system delays.
Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for each day of the Preview period, with capacity limits in place.
Note: ETDS recently got a refresh! Although it has a new look, the process for reserving tickets remains the same.
While we are excited to give you the opportunity to experience Epic Universe, we will be enforcing a strict no-photo policy. This means photography, videography, and video calls are strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in removal from the park and disciplinary action.

We encourage you to use the Preview period to experience Epic Universe, as your Team Member ID will not include admission to the new park for an undetermined amount of time after opening. Stay tuned to Team Universal for future park access updates.
Ensuring our Team Members are among the first to experience this groundbreaking new park is an important part of our Team Member-first culture, and we can’t wait for you to experience all Epic Universe has to offer — we can barely contain our excitement!

Universal Epic Universe is set to open to the public on May 22nd, 2025. We learned last week that more tickets are being released to the public. Ticket packages and requirements have generated a lot of online discussion, both for the complicated nature of the release and the requirement that guests visit Universal Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios Florida in order to gain access to Universal Epic Universe.
