Marvel Studios’ ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Releases Teaser and Poster

More information has been released regarding Marvel Studios’ new film “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” including a new teaser trailer and poster.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Marvel just released the first official poster for the new film. The poster is blue with a white button in the center. The button has the number 4 in a smooth, retro-styled font surrounded names of the Fantastic Four. The names used on the poster are the characters’ real-world last names, not their superhero titles.

Below the button, “Marvel Studios” is written using the same stylized logo we previously saw during the film’s preview at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The poster tells viewers to “Prepare 4 Launch” and has the film’s release date.

The new teaser is only a short, 20-second clip. During the teaser, children run towards a shop window displaying TVs. Most of the TVs are playing clips of astronauts in space, but the one in the center says “Prepare 4 Launch.” The clip ends with an announcement that a full trailer will be released tomorrow, February 4. The description for the new teaser says “The Future Foundation invites you to take your first steps into a fantastic new era.”

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is set to star Pedro Pascal (“The Mandalorian”) as Reed Richards or Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby (“The Crown”) as Sue Storm or The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn (“Stranger Things”) as Johnny Storm or The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (“The Bear”) as Ben Grimm or The Thing. The film is directed by Matt Shakman, who previously worked on Marvel’s “WandaVision.”

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, mentioned that the overall aesthetic will draw inspiration from the sense of optimism at the 1964 World’s Fair. A short video of the film’s stars provided a glimpse of the costumes for the upcoming movie. Marvel also released a preview of the film’s score, which is being composed by Michael Giacchino. Giacchino has previously worked with both Marvel and Disney as a composer for films such as “Doctor Strange,” “Thor: Love and Thunder,” “The Incredibles,” “Ratatouille,” “Up,” “Inside Out,” “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” and “Coco.”

Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” will be released in theaters July 25, 2025.
