A new Max Goof as Powerline mug is available at Disneyland Resort.
Max as Powerline Mug – $24.99
Max is looking ultra-cool as Powerline for this new mug, available now at Disneyland Resort. He wears wraparound blue sunglasses with a red contrast frame. His look is complete with a slight smile, arched eyebrows, and perfectly coiffed hair.
The mug captures the contours of Max’s face with a jutting nose and indented mouth. A black handle on the left side of the mug is provided for comfortable use.
The mug features an all-yellow glazed interior with a Powerline atom icon in red.
Powerline is the pop star hero of Goofy’s son, Max. Max and Goofy’s road trip to Los Angeles to see Powerline’s concert and obtain his autograph is the main plot of the Disney animated film, “A Goofy Movie.” Prior to the movie, Powerline appeared in a book called “Goofy Gets Goofy.” He’s also been featured on Disney trading pins.
In “A Goofy Movie,” Max dresses as Powerline for a school assembly and Powerline Max occasionally appears in Disney Parks. Powerline has also appeared in a handful of Disney video games.
Max first appeared as Goofy Jr. in the 1951 short “Fathers Are People,” but wasn’t seen again until his star turn on the animated series “Goof Troop” in 1992. The 78-episode TV series spawned two movies — “A Goofy Movie” and “An Extremely Goofy Movie” — as well as additional appearances in TV shows and video games for Goofy’s son.
