Two new racing jackets for adults themed to “Toy Story” and Mickey Mouse are now available for purchase on the Disney Store website.
Mickey Mouse ”Motor Club” Racing Jacket – $99.99
The Mickey Mouse racing jacket uses Mickey’s classic colors of red, black, and yellow. The jacket is made of a thick polyester fabric and has hidden side pockets by each seam. The bottom hem of the jacket has a pull string closure. On the front, “Disney” is written in the company’s usual wordmark font above a white checkered line. Additional images on the chest say “Mickey Mouse” in the style of racing patches.
The back of the jacket is mostly red with yellow detailing. A large circular icon shows Mickey standing in a red racing suit with a matching ear helmet. Mickey is surrounded by two checkered flags and a black border. The text around the logo says “Mickey Mouse Motor Club – Since 1928.”
One more white and black patch is sewn on the arm of the right sleeve. The patch is shaped like a road sign and has the number 28 above a side profile of Mickey’s head.
Toy Story Racing Jacket – $99.99
The second racing jacket has icons and imagery from the “Toy Story” films. The jacket is blue with black sleeves and green detailing. While this jacket also has a zipper down the center, the bottom hem has a snap closure instead of a pull string. The pockets are also closer to the front instead of being hidden by the seams. The stomach has a large “Toy Story” wordmark and several more patches are present on the chest. The green stripes on both shoulders say “Pixar” in their usual wordmark style.
The website provides closer images of the four patches sewn on the jacket’s chest. The patches on the left include Buzz Lightyear’s Star Command logo and the Pixar Luxo Ball, while the patches on the right are shaped like Woody’s sheriff badge and the red logo for Pizza Planet.
The back of the jacket features Woody standing next to RC the car. The two of them appear to be splashing blue water as they race. Text around them says “95 Champions,” a reference to the film’s premiere in 1995. Near the wrist of both black sleeves, more blue water splashes appear to drip downward.
