Disneyland is reusing the tagline from their 50th anniversary to promote its 70th anniversary celebration.

Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary celebration begins on May 16, 2025. Disneyland has shared multiple social media posts referring to the anniversary as “the happiest celebration on earth.”
The tagline “The Happiest Celebration on Earth” was used in 2005 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Disneyland Resort. During the 18-month-long celebration, Disney parks around the world brought guests new attractions, entertainment, and more. Specifically, the tagline was used at the various global parks while Disneyland Resort used “The Happiest Homecoming on Earth.”
Disneyland has used the phrasing in two recent Instagram posts promoting the resort’s 70th anniversary.
One Instagram post features Mickey and friends riding King Arthur Carrousel with the caption “The happiest celebration on earth is just around… and around… and around the corner.”
Another post revealed that the Jonas Brothers will sing the official celebration theme song. The caption on the post reads, “We’re ready to ‘Rollercoaster’ into the happiest celebration on Earth. The Jonas Brothers will perform the official Disneyland Resort 70th anniversary celebration theme song ‘Celebrate Happy’!”
Despite the theme of the celebration being “Celebrate Happy,” Disney continues to reuse the 50th anniversary phrase to promote the 70th anniversary as well.
A “Celebrate Happy” Cavalcade will perform daily and feature Mickey & friends, plus Duffy and ShellieMae. The theme song will also be featured in the Tapestry of Happiness projection show on the facade of”it’s a small world.”
