In our last update, we reported that crews had begun jackhammering work in the main area of the pool. Construction work has now begun on the building’s facade. Some paneling pieces around the windows have been removed.

Workers in safety vests are on ladders, painting or renovating the exterior of a white building with large windows and a sloped roof.

White coverings along the windows have been placed over some of the framework as work continues.

Sections of grey siding have been removed from the building’s exterior and plywood is now visible. There is also black weather material and a white cloth covering certain areas.

Some pathways are blocked and a sign informs guests that the area is currently being renovated.

Workers in orange shirts and hard hats are constructing by a building with a staircase. Some are bent over working on the ground.

Jackhammer work continues in the pool. Crews have moved from the central area of the pool to the side closer to EPCOT.

Crews remain at work in other areas of the pool as well.

Stormalong Bay will be closed through June 2025. During the lengthy refurbishment, guests can use the Tidal, Admiral, and Dunes Cove leisure pools.
