Former Imagineer Eddie Sotto is publishing a limited edition portfolio of artwork he created for the unbuilt 1920s Main Street, US.A. planned for Euro Disneyland (now Disneyland Paris).

1920s Main Street Art Portfolio

Dubbed “The Land That Never Was,” each copy of the portfolio will be signed and numbered. They will feature six pencil sketches of the 1920s Main Street concept.

“This series was a dream come true as many of these unrealized ideas have been haunting me,” Sotto wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “so the chance to get them on paper this one time was a thrill. Even made a 1920’s music BGM soundtrack to draw by! The art shows you the Speakeasies, Elevated trains, Movie Palaces, and more including a booklet with written descriptions and a map! SO fun…More to come…”

Disneyland Paris will announce details about how to purchase “The Land That Never Was” later.

WDWNT interviewed Sotto in 2022 for the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. Sotto was involved in early development of what was then called Euro Disney and directed the master planning of Tokyo Disneyland. In our interview, embedded below, Sotto discussed his 1920s Main Street concept that never came to be.
