That’s no moon. It’s a popcorn bucket. The Death Star popcorn bucket has arrived at Disneyland for Season of the Force 2025.
Death Star Popcorn Bucket – $32.49
The bucket is shaped just like the famous planet-destroyer, but with a flat base so it can easily sit on a shelf. The bucket lights up where the Death Star’s superlaser would shoot out.
The circle around the center of the bucket also illuminates.
It has a textured plastic exterior to simulate the appearance of the space station.
The lid is on top of the Death Star.
The battery compartment is on the bottom.
It has a black detachable strap featuring TIE Fighters, the “Star Wars” logo, and the Disney Parks wordmark.
There are two light settings. One features white lights across the surface and a sustained green light representing the laser. The other setting replicates the superlaser powering up with sound effects. See that in our video of the bucket below, from its debut on Disney Cruise Line.
