The fourth installment of the “Spider-Man” franchise is set to begin production later this year. Tom Holland will be returning as Peter Parker and will now reportedly be joined by Sadie Sink.

Sources believe that Sink will be introduced as the “X-Men” character Jean Grey. Sink will take on the first major new role while the returning cast has reduced roles keeping on track with the plotline.

Sink has just finished wrapping production on the final season of the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” which was the role that helped launch her career. She can also be seen in “O’Dessa,” the Searchlight musical which recently premiered at SXSW. Before she begins production on “Spider-Man 4,” she will be performing in the Broadway play “John Proctor Is the Villain” opening on April 4, 2025.
