Floor Damage Issues Continue at CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT

Several of the floor decals in CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT have been removed, while others continue to peel up from the floor, as form continues to fall victim to the realities of crowds at the flexible space.

Last month, we reported that several of the floral flooring decals in CommuniCore Hall that were added for the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival were already pulling up from the floor. At the time, the decals were newly installed and quickly showed damage and signs of wear and tear.

A few weeks later, we noticed that Disney had fixed much of the damage, but there was still noticeable tearing and peeling on the edges of many of the floral vinyl appliqués.

Additionally, some of the appliqués still had small holes in them as if air bubbles had popped, leaving damaged areas in the design.

Now, it appears that many of the decals have been removed. Specifically, in the area near the festival booth where food and beverage items are served, nearly all the decals are entirely gone. This is likely due to it being a busy area, where decals are not durable enough to stand up to the foot traffic.

There are still decals in the queue where guests wait to pick up their food.

Another decal still had noticeable lifting near the silver stanchion placed over the top of it.

Decals have also been removed from the dining space where tables and chairs have been set up for guests to use as they enjoy their festival treats.

CommuniCore Hall has received criticism for its lack of offerings beyond extra seating and a space to escape the Florida heat. Disney has made efforts to improve the pavilion’s offerings with exhibits that tie into the current EPCOT festival. During the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, CommuniCore Hall was home to Once Upon A Stage: 30 Years of Disney. on Broadway. Currently, it houses the Disney Horticulture Gallery as part of the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
