Each “Tales” anthology series follows two “paths” that don’t necessarily connect or cross. “Tales of the Jedi” was about Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku, while “Tales of the Empire” followed Morgan Elsbeth and Barriss Offee.
First introduced in the 2003 animated “Star Wars: Clone Wars” series and then returning for the 2008 animated series, Asajj Ventress was a member of Dathomir’s Nightsister clan. She was surrendered into slavery as a child and then rescued by the Jedi. She was trained in the Force but fell to the dark side and became an assassin for Count Dooku. After Dooku betrayed her, she turned against him and became a bounty hunter. She has been voiced by Grey DeLisle, Nika Futterman, and Trish Pattendon.
Cad Bane was introduced in the 2008 “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” series. He appeared in live action in “The Book of Boba Fett” (2021). He’s one of the galaxy’s greatest bounty hunters and trained Boba Fett. Bane is voiced by Corey Burton and was portrayed in live action by Dorian Kingi.
