The beloved robot has been brought to life in full detail and actually rolls around thanks to his unique wheels.

As WALL-E arrived in the Pixar Place Hotel lobby, he waved one arm in a wave. The robot’s eyes and brows also move, creating different expressions. He met guests in front of the giant Luxo Jr. lamp sculpture.

WALL-E’s hiding one more surprise — the plant in a boot tucked into his trash compacting compartment. The front of the robot opens to show off the plant.

WALL-E is only appearing on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 (Earth Day) until 3 p.m. PT. Watch our video of WALL-E at Pixar Place Hotel below.

WALL-E debuted in Pixar’s 2008 animated film named after the character. Set in the future, humans have abandoned a trash-covered Earth, leaving behind WALL-E robots to clean up after them. WALL-E carries on his work until the robot Eve arrives, searching for signs of life.

Pixar Place Hotel officially opened in January 2024, but the original hotel actually opened in 1984. It was the Emerald of Anaheim, operated by the Tokyu Group. It was later named The Pan Pacific Hotel Anaheim and then purchased by Disney in 1995. Disney renamed it the Disneyland Pacific Hotel and then Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel in 2001.

Pixar Putt, a pop-up mini golf experience, is currently available at Pixar Place Hotel. New “Coco” and “The Incredibles” suites will open this summer. Tour a one-bedroom Pixar Place Hotel suite.
