With Earth Day 2025 coming soon, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is preparing to celebrate by adding a special character meet and greet with Tinker Bell and Fawn.
Earth Day Meet and Greet with Tinker Bell and Fawn
Earth Day 2025 officially takes place on April 22, but Disney’s Animal Kingdom is starting the celebrations a little early. Starting Sunday, April 20, guests will be able to meet special Earth Day characters in the park.
For 2025, Disney has brought back a meet and greet with fairies Tinker Bell and Fawn. The duo previously met with guests for Earth Day 2023, but were absent from the character lineup in 2024.
The character meet and greet is taking place in the Tree of Life Garden, which is located across from the Creature Comforts Starbucks location. Both characters are meeting together, so guests will only need to wait in a single line.
Tinker Bell is wearing her classic green dress with translucent wings and her iconic pom-pom shoes. Fawn is wearing a sleeveless top and matching pants in a tie-dye orange and yellow pattern. Fawn’s outfit is slightly different from 2023; in her previous meet and greet, she had a bright yellow sash around her waist.
Unlike in previous years, Cast Members have confirmed that the two fairies will be the only meet and greet for Earth Day 2025 in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In the past, the character duo meeting guests varied over the course of several days. Some of these previous characters included Goofy with Max, Winnie the Pooh with Rabbit, and Winnie the Pooh again with Piglet.
The dates for the Earth Day meet and greet have also been cut down from previous years. Fawn and Tinker Bell will continue to met guests daily in Disney’s Animal Kingdom only through the evening of Tuesday, April 22. In the past, special characters celebrating Earth Day would remain in the park for at least a week. With Tinker Bell and Fawn only arriving on April 20, their total meet and greet time this year is expected to total only three days.
