After you’ve seen a demonstration (for better or worse) from Victoria Frankenstein, stop by The Manor Storehouse in Dark Universe at Epic Universe.
The Manor Storehouse
About
The Manor Storehouse is one of the merchandise locations in Dark Universe, offering various wares inspired by Universal Monsters. Read the official description below.
In an abandoned part of Frankenstein Manor, Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s assistants once stockpiled various objects and oddities from the storied past of the legendary Frankenstein family. Here, in The Manor Storehouse, you’ll find monster themed souvenirs, apparel, jewelry, toys, candy, and collectibles.
Exterior
Section
Guests who ride Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment will exit into the gift shop, but other guests can also enter the shop from outside. Dead vines creep up its stone archways.
“The Manor Storehouse” is on a plaque above the main archway.
Past the archways is the store’s stone entrance.
Interior
Inside, the store has stone flooring. There’s a mix of vintage-style props and more modern fixtures, keeping with the manor’s story. Sleek black rafters cross the tall ceiling.
Some of the merchandise displays resemble antique tables, crates, and glass display boxes.
The wall lights are black sconces with orange faux flame lights flickering behind frosted glass. The walls look like they’re dirty and aged.
In a corner by the ride’s exit are counters for guests to view their on-ride photo. There are two large TV screens in ornate frames on the wall. Guests can tap on one of the five smaller screens to find and attach their photos. A suit of armor stands guard next to the marble counters.
The movable merchandise displays throughout the center of the store are brown wood-style with metallic rivets on their edges.
The built-in shelves on the walls are black and decorated with rivets. Above the merchandise are anatomical drawings, skeleton pieces, brains, and other items you might see in Victoria Frankenstein’s lab.
An open coffin is used to display a mannequin wearing some of the shop’s apparel.
Behind the coffin is a table with an old chair, a dusty candelabra, and vintage-style boxes displaying more merchandise.
The check-out counter is the same black marble as the photo counter. Across the front are grates and vents.
The columns on the sides hold electric cords, like they’re powering some of Frankenstein’s experiments upstairs.
Three vertical slabs stand back to back near the center of the store, with cords draped over them. Strapped to one is a green mannequin dressed like Frankenstein’s Monster in the cosplay jacket available for purchase. Another slab features a Bride-inspired mannequin in a white dress that guests can buy.
One slab is empty, with dark burn marks radiating out from the shape of a man and empty restraints.
