‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ Trailer

Universal has now released the first short teaser trailer for the sequel to the popular “Five Nights at Freddy’s” 2023 film, which is simply called “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.”
The short clip includes a shot of the animatronic mascots in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza coming back to life and chasing down more humans. Multiple scenes show the animatronics in settings outside the restaurant, perhaps hinting at some expanded locations for this second installment. Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard are all set to reprise their roles from the first film. The movie is directed by Emma Tammi, who directed the first film and co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback.
New speculation maps for Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have also hinted that a haunted house themed to the popular franchise may be coming in 2025.
“Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” is set to premiere in theaters on December 5, 2025.
