The nighttime fireworks spectacular at EPCOT — Luminous: A Symphony of Us has been abruptly canceled for tonight, May 20, 2025.
Luminous was due to perform at 9:00 p.m. this evening. A push notification was sent from the My Disney Experience app letting guests know that the performance had been canceled.
The notification does not give a reason for the show’s cancellation, but does “apologize for any inconvenience.”
Luminous: The Symphony of Us debuted in December 2023 as a replacement for the infamous Harmonious before it. It features two original songs as well as new arrangements of classic Disney songs. At the start of the show, voices from each World Showcase pavilion welcome guests. Then, with the tap of a conductor’s baton, the show’s first movement begins with the original song, “Heartbeat Symphony.”
