Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster is located in the back of Mickey’s Toontown, between Mickey’s House and Donald’s Duck Pond. Formerly known as Gadget’s Go-Coaster, the re-themed attraction opened alongside the reimagined Mickey’s Toontown in 2023.

Construction walls are now standing around the entrance to the rollercoaster, as it has been closed for a refurbishment. Green scrims and scaffolding can also be seen near the attraction for what is expected to be a brief refurbishment involving general maintenance, paint, and updates.

Additional fencing-style construction walls are placed all along the exterior of the ride and its nearby queue. No times are listed on the Disneyland website for the attraction through Friday, June 13, 2025, which is likely when the ride will re-open.

Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster is inspired by the Disney animated series “Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers.” The series involves Chip, Dale, and a team of crime fighters helping to solve mysteries. The attraction is described by Disney as a one-of-a-kind, fun-sized coaster created by Gadget Hackwrench—Toontown’s favorite tinkerer—for the town’s tiniest citizens.

The Matterhorn Bobsleds attraction is also currently closed for a lengthy refurbishment in Disneyland Park. These closures come after a similar months-long refurbishment of “it’s a small world,” which has now reopened with new figures of Miguel and Dante from Disney and Pixar’s “Coco.”
