A new MagicBand+ design matching the 70th anniversary collection merchandise has now arrived at Disneyland Resort.

We found the new MagicBand+ at the Emporium in Disneyland Park.
70th Anniversary MagicBand+ – $44.99

The 70th anniversary MagicBand+ is sold in a standard black box without any special decorations. It has the usual silver MagicBand logo.

The band matches the official celebration colors of pink, purple, blue, and gold, as seen on many of the other 70th Anniversary Celebration Collection items. The colors have an ombre effect with a light blue color around the puck that bleeds into purple and eventually pink at the ends. The puck itself is also blue with the event’s “70” castle logo in the center.

Both sides of the band have a pattern of Mickey and his friends wearing their special 70th anniversary outfits. Each character is framed inside a blue or gold alternating diamond running vertically down the band. The first side starts with Mickey in the top diamond, followed by Donald, Minnie, and Goofy.

The opposite side of the band has a nearly identical design, but the order of the characters has been changed slightly. This end has Minnie in the top diamond, Goofy next, then Mickey. The space between the diamonds is filled with tiny multicolored stars.
Disneyland Resort has released over a hundred new merchandise items for the beginning of the 70th Celebration, which officially started on May 16. In addition to new interactive MagicBand+ locations around the park, they also debuted a new Key to Disneyland interactive activity.
