After introducing the concept last year, Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has announced the return of Welcome Home Weeks with special snacks, discounts, experiences, and more.
DVC Welcome Home Weeks 2025
Disney first introduced the concept of Welcome Home Weeks in 2024 as a special benefit for DVC members. The “limited-time celebration” has now been confirmed to return for the summer of 2025, along with some updated details and dates. While many of the offerings are returning from last year, a few of the benefits are new.
Sweet Stop
Guests visiting select locations at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, or Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort can receive a complimentary Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, ice cream sandwich, or fruit bar. The locations for Walt Disney World have expanded since last year to include several new pickup spots:
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- Dates: Mondays and Tuesdays, starting August 18, 2025
- Times: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

Welcome Home Wakeup
In another returning offering, DVC members at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland can receive coffee and morning treats. There is a limit of one Welcome Home Wakeup per week, per member. The eligible member may attend with up to four guests.
In order to be eligible, members must have Membership Extras with a resort reservation at the same resort where the event is being held. The eligible resorts include Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, or any Disneyland Resort hotel. Character Experiences
DVC members can meet Disney characters in select locations at Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort, Aulani Resort, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. The locations, dates, and times include:
Walt Disney World Resort:
- Location: Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s BoardWalk
- Dates: August 25 through August 27, 2025, and September 8 through September 10, 2025
- Times: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Parking: There is no Resort parking for this event. Members are strongly encouraged to use Walt Disney World Resort transportation.
Disneyland Resort:
- Location: The Adventure Room at the Disneyland Hotel
- Dates: August 14 and September 11, 2025
- Times: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Parking: There is no Resort parking for this event.
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort:
- Location: The Croquet Lawn
- Dates: Thursdays, starting August 14, 2025
- Times: 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort:
- Location: The Big Dipper Pool Deck
- Dates: Tuesdays, starting August 19, 2025
- Times: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Aulani Resort:
- Location: Kipuka Lawn
- Dates: August 14, August 28 and September 11, 2025

As with some of the previous offerings, the character meetings are limited to members eligible for Membership Extras with a resort reservation at one of the corresponding locations. The member can bring up for four guests or the number of additional guests on the reservation.
Table Service Discount
As part of Welcome Home Weeks, DVC members can enjoy 40% off food and non-alcoholic beverages at select Walt Disney Resort table-service restaurants. The discount only applies on Mondays through Thursdays from August 14 to September 16, 2025. Some of the restaurants also have specific mealtimes listed. The list of restaurants includes:
- Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park (Lunch & Dinner)
- Toledo –Tapas, Steak & Seafood at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort (Dinner)
- Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside (Dinner)
- Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort (Dinner)
- The Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom Park
- Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
- Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT

Eligible members can bring themselves and up to three additional guests. The discount does not include to-go orders, nor does it include tax or gratuity.
Mobile Order Discount
DVC members will receive a 20% one-time-use discount on a quick-service mobile order specifically at Disneyland Resort only. The discount applies to any quick-service dining location seen on the Disneyland app. The discount is available for use between August 14 and September 16, 2025, but it is only available via Mobile Order and cannot be redeemed in person.
Welcome Home Wednesday Wine Mixer
In another returning benefit from last year, members can indulge in complimentary wine, appetizers, and live music at both the Disneyland Resort and Aulani Resort. Pre-registration for the event is required, and space is limited.
Complimentary Welcome Home Weeks Everglazed Donut
Gusts at Walt Disney World can stop by the Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew location in Disney Springs to receive a complimentary donut. The donut will be available only on Wednesdays, starting on August 20, 2025. The snack is limited to one donut per member, per week.
Complimentary Movie Snacks
Guests staying at select Walt Disney World resorts or select Disney Cruise Line sailings can receive complimentary candy or popcorn during Movies Under the Stars film showings. The Walt Disney World resorts only have candy as an option, while the Cruise Line sailings have popcorn. The list of resorts includes:

Meanwhile, the Disney Cruise Line locations include the concession counter outside the theaters on all ships, including the Walt Disney Theatre, Buena Vista Theater, and Never Land Cinema. The complimentary snacks only apply to sailings from August 14 to September 16.
The resort complimentary candy is limited to one selection of candy per member, per week, while the Disney Cruise Line option is available for one popcorn or popcorn refill per member, per movie.
Screening of “Disney ’80s-‘90s Celebration in Concert”
Disney has teased special screenings of the “Disney ’80s-‘90s Celebration in Concert” film. However, the website currently says all of the dates, times, and locations for the film screenings are still waiting to be announced.
Complimentary Reusable Shopping Bag
Guests can visit select Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Centers for a complimentary reusable bag. The pickup locations include:
- Gateway to Discovery – A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center at Disney Springs
- Golden Vine House – A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center at Disney California Adventure Park
Like most of the other complimentary offerings, the dates for picking up the bag run from August 14 to September 16, 2025, during normal operating hours. The bag is limited to one per member.
Room Refresh Open House
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be hosting an open house event to allow DVC members to step inside some of the refurbished rooms. Like the film screening, the dates and times are still “to be announced.”
Hawaiian Art Experience
Aulani Resort in Hawai’i will be hosting Hawaiian language lessons and traditional stamping known as kapa printing. These activities will take place in the Pau Hana Room on August 18, August 25, September 8, and September 15. The times include 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Members may bring up to four guests, and pre-registration for each time is available at Hoku Hideaway.
Hawaiian Cultural Experience
Also taking place at Aulani Resort, guests can visit the Kaiona Ballroom for complimentary lei-making and hula lessons. The dates are August 19, September 2, and September 16, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Like the Art Experience, members can being up to four guests and pre-registration at Hoku Hideaway is encouraged.
Palm Breeze Bar Special
Guests at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel can receive an appetizer at no additional cost with the purchase of a specialty drink at Palm Breeze Bar. The drink can be either a cocktail or mocktail. The dates for this special benefit are only August 20 and September 3 from noon to 6 p.m. The appetizer is limited to one per member per day.
Welcome Home Weeks Button
Finally, DVC members can pick up a complimentary button to celebrate Welcome Home Weeks. The button will be available from August 14 to September 16, 2025, and the locations include:
