Disneyland Paris has shared the first pictures of the seasonal Lounge Lightspeed terrace, including more “Star Wars” details and some roaming characters.
Lounge Lightspeed
First announced in mid-May with a piece of concept art, Lounge Lightspeed is an outdoor terrace area located on top of Starport, which is already home to several “Star Wars” meet and greets. The lounge was developed by Walt Disney Imagineering and sponsored by Coca-Cola. It is estimated to seat around 50 guests.
A new post from the Disneyland Paris official Instagram account has now shared the first pictures of Lounge Lightspeed in full operation. The first two images show the exterior of the lounge, which is directly underneath the life-size X-Wing perched on the top of Starport. A blue sign advertising the lounge has been attached to the walls facing the guest walkway.
The next several photos show guests interacting with some of the characters who periodically appear by Lounge Lightspeed. The pictures include Stormtroopers and the BDX droids that arrived at Disneyland Paris for May the 4th.
The caption included with the Instagram post explains:
Starting today, elevate your experience with Lounge Lightspeed, hosted by Coca-Cola, a chic, pop-up rooftop terrace atop the Starport in Discoveryland! Enjoy refreshing drinks and snacks inspired by the Star Wars galaxy while taking in stunning views of the X-wing. Keep your eyes open, you might just spot a few Droids or Stormtroopers passing by. It’s the perfect summer spot to relax before boarding Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.

The final images include some of the new food and beverage options available on the Lounge Lightspeed menu. The list includes:
- Non-Alcoholic Cocktail and Biscuits (2 pieces) – 22€
- Starspeeder Fusion: Hibiscus-raspberry infusion, non-alcoholic chamomile vermouth, Seedlip, verjus non-alcoholic wine, agave syrup, and peppermint hydrosol
- Lightspeed Juice: Non-alcoholic Chardonnay, verjus non-alcoholic wine, elderflower cordial, and curacao syrup
- Disneyland Paris Special Edition Champagne Pierre Mignon
- Cold Drink and Biscuits (2 pieces) – 15€
Lounge Lightspeed officially opened today, May 31, and will remain operational through September 17, 2025. It is scheduled to be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Please note that Disney has changed the closing time for the lounge, which was originally expected to remain open until 10 p.m.
