Universal Orlando Resort is saying goodbye to Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit with a commemorative T-shirt and magnet.
The farewell merchandise is available at the Music Plaza kiosk near the coaster in Universal Studios Florida.
T-Shirt – $30

The T-shirt is black with short sleeves and a crew neck. “Farewell Tour 2025” is in yellow letters on a red block across the chest. Lightning bolts and cracks of electricity are around the logo.

Two skeletons are pictured on the back riding Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, with their coaster car at the bottom of the ride’s lift hill. “Hollywood Rip Ride Rock’d It” is in big yellow letters at the bottom.
Die-Cut Magnet – $14
The same artwork is on the die-cut magnet. The “Farewell Tour 2025” logo is at the top, above the skeleton artwork.
WDWNT reported on rumors of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit closing over a year ago. Universal later confirmed it will close permanently in early September to be replaced by a new attraction. Details are still sparse, but Universal contracted coaster manufacturer Intamin for unknown work in October 2024.
Crafted by Maurer Söhne, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit opened at Universal Studios Florida in 2009. It’s unique for its soundtrack, with riders getting to pick what they’ll hear during the ride from a list of songs. There were once over 30 official songs and a secret list to choose from, but the list was reduced to just five songs in late 2023. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit features a non-inverted loop and a 90-degree angle climb to the launch, creating an iconic shape often used in skyline art on Universal merchandise.
