A new light-up Epic Universe popcorn bucket is available at the new Universal Orlando Resort theme park.
We found it at a merchandise kiosk in Celestial Park. With the purchase of this bucket, the first fill of popcorn is free.
Epic Universe Popcorn Bucket – $34.99
The popcorn bucket is inspired by the Epic Universe logo. It’s plastic with a golden finish. The front has a transparent window. “Universal Epic Universe” is across the window in 3D letters. “Universal” is gold while “Epic Universe” is white with gold borders.
A minimalist version of the Universal Epic Universe logo is debossed on the back. The bucket opens from the top to fill with popcorn. The front panel also comes off to access the battery pack for the lights.
It has elements sticking out of the sides. A detachable strap with black plastic hardware clips to two rings near the top of the bucket. The construction is similar to the new Time Turner bucket.
The strap is blue. It’s patterned with golden celestial elements and the Epic Universe logo. It also features “Universal Epic Universe” in gold text.
Pressing the button at the bottom of the popcorn bucket activates lights inside. They glow blue, green, and red in rows behind the window, appearing to go on forever. See the popcorn bucket in action in our TikTok video below.
An Annual Passholder discount is available on the bucket.
Epic Universe is currently in previews but will have its grand opening on May 22.
